This now-famous course starts at the Cheakamus Lake parking lot, climbs up Helm Creek, traverses the cinder flats towards Taylor Meadows - Garibaldi Lake and then drops to the Garibaldi/Rubble Creek parking lot. Sounds easy? Consider the grueling 2500 ft elevation gain followed by a 3500 ft drop!
