Elements of Music

This 2 hour workshop is open to musicians and non-musicians regardless of their experience.  We will explore the building blocks of music rhythm, melody and harmony and examine  how they intertwine to create great music of any style. We'll discuss notes, scales, keys,  chords, rhythm, groove and other musical concepts in language that everyone can  understand. Musicians will be able to apply these ideas to their own playing.

Non-musicians will develop an understanding of these musical ideas that enriches their enjoyment as listeners.
